Here in the Coachella Valley, it is all about “the season”, which lasts roughly from October through the end of May. For the rest of the year, the pace slows down considerably, predictably, as the mercury rises. Temperatures during the day in the summer months hover above 100 ℉, and apparently a lot of folks think its just too darn hot to visit.
I say phooey. This kind of weather is what swimming pools, air conditioning and frosty drinks (optionally boozy) were made for. As a bonus, from June through September, the decline in visitors equates to a seriously substantial drop in wait times and pricing at all the best places. Saving money while simultaneously having fun? Duh.
So, toss your sunblock, a bathing suit and some flip-flops in a bag and head on out here. Oh, and some water. No matter what time of the year you are coming, you’re going to want to stay hydrated!
